AWCAAN is striving to reduce cancer mortality and morbidity in Nigeria

According to the Global Cancer Observatory of the World Health Organization (2022), Nigeria recorded 127,763 new cancer cases, 79,542 cancer-related deaths, and approximately 270,000 people living with cancer (morbidities). The top two cancers affecting women were breast cancer (40%) and cervical cancer (17%), areas in which AWCAA has 20 years of expertise gained through programs in both the US and Africa…
